Ms Liisa-Ly Pakosta

Dear Minister,
On behalf of CEE Digital Coalition, a gathering of digital and advanced technologies industry
organizations from Central Eastern Europe, bringing the region together on its digital path, I
am delighted to invite you to the CEE Digital Summit Warsaw 2024 on 10 October 2024 in
Warsaw, Poland (Hotel Verte, Podwale 3/5). Appreciating your unique perspective and vast
experience, I am also honored to invite you to join the speakers of the “Taking the lead.
Can CEE shape the European digital agenda?” opening panel discussion, scheduled to
take place at 10:40-11:40 am CET.
During the fifth edition of our regional event, digital industry leaders, policy-makers,
researchers, experts and heads of CEE’s leading enterprises involved in the field of digitisation
of Central Eastern European economies and society will gather to seek opportunities for closer
cooperation, identify key challenges on our region’s digital path and share their thoughts on
overcoming them. This year, boosting Central Eastern European countries’ impact on the
European digital policy will be the leading theme of the conference. You may learn more
about the event and our activity HERE.
I wish to cordially invite you to speak during our opening panel discussion on 10 October
2024 10:40-11:40 am CET. It will be dedicated to the immediate future of the European digital
agenda from the perspective of Central Eastern European public officials responsible for digital
affairs and industry leaders. Boosting and coordinating CEE’s impact in the field will be the
focus of our conversation. We will assess the priorities set out for the current EU leaders and
consider opportunities stemming from CEE countries’ presidencies in the Council of the
European Union.
Key topics will include:
• Boosting and coordinating Central Eastern European countries’ impact on the
European digital policy
• Assessing the digital priorities of the European Commission
• Opportunities stemming from back-to-back Hungarian and Polish presidencies of the
Council of the European Union
• Potential new approaches to European policy-making focused on impact assessment
(including on SMEs) and competitiveness
Feel free to reach out with any questions regarding the conference, panel in questions and our
activity as CEE Digital Coalition.
I am looking forward to hearing back from you and hope to see you in Warsaw this October.
Sincerely,
Michał Kanownik
