Dear IALA Member, I am pleased to announce that nominations are now open for the 2025 IALA Heritage Lighthouse of the Year Accolade. I would encourage you to take this opportunity to put your most treasured lighthouses in the spotlight. A Heritage Lighthouse is any lighthouse of cultural significance which goes beyond its current function and time. It does not have to be old, but it must have a cultural value. The submitted nominations will be published on the website and the nomination form containing further guidance is available at: https://heritage.iala-aism.org/nominate-a-lighthouse/ If a lighthouse has been nominated in a previous year, there is no need to nominate it again – it will automatically be considered for the 2025 accolade. Please note that the deadline for submission is 11 October 2024.
