With the OECD Global Roundtable on Equal Access to Justice approaching in one month, we are kindly following up on the status of our invitation extended to Estonia. We would be grateful for any updates regarding the consideration of a representative from Estonia whether at expert- or high-level, attending this year’s event in Ottawa, Canada from 8-10 October.

As you may know, this year’s Roundtable will feature both high-level and expert discussions. We have invited Mr Tõnis Saar, Secretary-General, to participate in the high-level segment and are awaiting his confirmation. Additionally, we would be delighted to welcome experts from the Ministry of Justice to attend and contribute to the event. 

For planning purposes, and to assist the host country, Canada, we would appreciate if you could confirm Estonia’s participation at your earliest convenience, preferably by Friday, 13th September. If it is not possible to provide confirmation by this date, we would be grateful for an update on when we might expect further information.

You can find relevant information on the event's platform, including the latest agenda, concept note, registration, and accommodation and travel requirements. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or if we can assist in any way to facilitate your decision.

We are following up on our invitation sent on 27 June 2024 to the High-level Roundtable on Equal Access to Justice “Building trust through people-centred justice” on 9 October 2024 in Ottawa, Canada. 

We would like to confirm you have received this invitation and ask if you require any additional information to facilitate Estonia’s confirmation of participation. We also want to underscore that the Roundtable will take place over two days, 9 and 10 October, with a welcome reception on the evening of 8 October. The event will feature high-level, policy, and expert discussions as outlined in the concept note. Additionally, technical workshops are scheduled for 7 and 8 October. While our invitation references the high-level segment on 9 October, we warmly welcome the participation of Estonia’s representative in all Roundtable sessions and meetings.
