Heating mats are generally considered home modification devices rather than direct mobility aids. As a result, they do not fall under the scope of devices eligible for national funding under the current aid system. This means that, unfortunately, they are not covered by state subsidies typically available for mobility assistance equipment. That said, local governments may consider providing support for individual cases based on specific needs, but this would be at their discretion and on a case-by-case basis.
