Dear colleagues,
In accordance with the Paragraph 3.9 of the Cooperation Agreement on the Development of the BaltFloodCombat High Capacity Pumping Module (hereinafter – BFC), the Fire and Rescue Department under the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Lithuania (hereinafter – the Fire and Rescue Department) would like to invite the Latvian and the Estonian BFC members to take part in the Joint Training, taking place on the 1st–3rd October 2024 in Lithuania, Kaunas District.
The Fire and Rescue Department kindly asks you to nominate up to 7–11 BFC members per country.
Each country should bring basic BFC equipment (pumps and additional equipment for ensuring pumping operations, safety and security equipment, pressure hoses and other BFC equipment issued during 2nd BFC Project), except long-distance hose lines from Estonia and Logistical Module.
BFC members should wear BFC outfits.
The aim for the Joint BFC Training is to ensure the operational readiness of the BFC Module, share the best practices from the previous missions and exercises, train new BFC members, test BFC Module capability to work with additional equipment (High Capacity Pump), evaluate possibilities for further improvement of the BFC Module.

Representatives of each country are responsible for covering their travel costs, insurance, accommodation and meals, except for the final lunch, taking place on the 3rd of October 2024, presents, etc.

Total costs of stay from 1 to 3 October 2024 are planned will be 100 EUR per person.
