dFFRA EUROPEAN UNION AGENCY FOR FUNDAMENTAL RIGHTS
To whom it may concern Sent by electronic mail only
Vienna, 22 February 2023 Ref. : 2023-outgoing-148
Regarding: FRANET contractor in Estonia
Dear Madam or Sir,
The European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA), located in Vienna, was established through Council Regulation (EC) No 168/2007 of 15 February 2007. The objective of FRA is to provide the relevant institutions, bodies, offices and agencies of the European Union and its Member States when implementing European Union law with assistance and expertise relating to fundamental rights.
FRA has developed a network of institutions (FRANET) composed of contractors in each EU Member State and the candidate countries Albania, North Macedonia and Serbia. The aim of this network is to provide the FRA with objective, reliable and comparable data on fundamental rights issues to facilitate the FRA's comparative analyses at EU level.
Tallinn University has been selected as the FRANET contractor for Estonia,
The FRANET contractor is required to collect available official and unofficial data and information, according to guidelines provided by FRA, that is collected at the Member State level, and to deliver the results of this data collection to FRA.
FRA would therefore very much appreciate the cooperation of all public authorities in the efforts of our FRANET contractor in collecting data and information on the Agency's behalf,
Yours sincerely,
c
