This is a kind reminder on the deadline – 7th October – for the nomination of 2 candidates with expertise in prevention and control of zoonotic avian influenza outbreaks at national level to participate to a simulation exercise (SIMEX) on zoonotic avian influenza. The SIMEX will take place in Brussels, Belgium, on 10th-11th December 2024 (1.5 days).
A formal invitation will be sent directly to the selected participants to organise their trip and accommodation, which will be managed by an external contractor.

We are pleased to inform you that the European Commission (EC), the European Health and Digital Executive Agency (HaDEA), the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) and the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) are organising a simulation exercise (SIMEX) on zoonotic avian influenza. The SIMEX will take place in Brussels, Belgium, on 10th-11th December 2024 (1.5 days).
With the attached nomination letter, we kindly ask you to nominate 2 candidates with expertise in prevention and control of zoonotic avian influenza outbreaks at national level by 7th October to [email protected].
