Saksamaa tähistab tänavu viieteistktimnendat korda Saksa Kevadet ja esitleb end Eestis suure huiga peamiseit kultuuriliste tähtstindmustega. Saksa Kevade tänavuseks partneriks on Saksamaa kultuuri line, aga ka uuenduslik keskus — Brandenburgi liidumaa.

Saksa Kevad on saanud Eestis tuntuks tirituseks, mida korraldavad Saksa saatkond, Goethe Instituut ning paljud Eesti partnerid. Oheskoos tutvustame me röömuga laiemale avalikkusele meie riigi mit mekesisust ning toome esile Eesti ja Saksamaa rikkalikke ja suurepäraseid suhteid ning Euroopa kul tuurilist mitmekesisust. Seepärast toetame me ka saksa keelt ja lisame programmi sellised tiritused nagu Lautstark, Seitenweise ja Euroopa päeva tähistamine. Saksa Kevad 2024 algab piduliku avamisega Eesti Muusika- ja Teatriakadeemias 9. aprillil 2024. Selleks puhuks saabub Potsdamist Tallinnasse Brandenburgi rahandus- ja Euroopa minister Katrin Lange. Ta on Brandenburgi liidumaa peaministri ja Uhtiasi avamistirituse patrooni, Dietmar Woidke ametlik esindaja. CJritus algab vastuvötuga, millelejärgneb Babelsbergi filmiorkestri ja Eesti muusi kute kontsert tummfilmile ,,Nosferatu” (1922). See on esimene kord, kui seda konkreetset partituuri mängitakse väljaspool Saksamaad.

Käesolevaga kutsun Teid, Iugupeetud minister, olema meie auktilaliseks pidulikul avamisel 9. aprillil 2024 keil 17:00 Eesti Muusika- ja Teatriakadeemias ning esinema tervituskönega koos Brandenburgi rahandus- ja Euroopa ministri Katrin Langega, Goethe Instituudi Tallinna juhi dr. Conrad Doberaueri ja minuga meie pubiikule.

Mul oleks suur auja rööm tervitada Teid Saksa Kevadel ning Teie osalemine väljendaks ning toetaks taas kord eestlaste ja saksiaste suurepäraseid suhteid.

Dear Minister Riina Sikkut,

This year marks the fifteenth time that Genriany celebrates Saksa Kevad and presents itself in

Estonia with a wide array of mainly cultural highlights. The state of Brandenburg, Germany’s

cultural but also innovative hub, is this year’s partner for Saksa Kevad.

Saksa Kevad has become a well-known event in Estonia and is organized by the German

Embassy and the Goethe Institute and many Estonian partners. Jointly, we are proud to present

the diversity of our country to the general public and to highlight the broad and excellent rela

tions between Estonia and Germany as well as the cultural variety of Europe. For this reason,

we wiIl be promoting the German language and include events such as Lautstark, Seitenweise

and the celebration of Europe Day in the program. Further information and the complete event

schedule will be available on www.saksakevad.ee in the second half of March.

Saksa Kevad 2024 will start with a festive opening at the Estonian Academy of Music and

Theatre on April 9, 2024. Minister of Finance and Europe of the State Brandenburg, Mrs. Katrin

Lange will take on the journey from Potsdam to Tallinn and honor us with her presence. She is

the official representative of the prime minister of the state of Brandenburg, Dietmar Woidke,

patron of the opening. The ceremony will start with a reception before the evening is concluded

with live music from the Fiim Orchestra Babelsberg and Estonian musicians to the silent movie

“Nosferatu” (1922). It will be the first time that this particular score is played outside of

Germany.
