Thank you for the inquiry.

According to Estonian Aviation Act § 46⁴, aviation security training must comply with the requirements provided for in Commission Regulation (EU) No 2015/1998 laying down detailed measures for the implementation of the common basic standards on aviation Security.

In addition the person implementing security measures may be trained in security training organised by the International Civil Aviation Organisation or the European Civil Aviation Conference and carried out by a security instructor approved or certified by them or

in security training carried out on the basis of a training programme approved by the appropriate authority of another Member State of the European Union and carried out by an instructor approved or certified by the appropriate authority of the Member State.

Wich means that we do accept AVSEC Instructors Course approved by the Civil Aviation Authority of the Czech Republic.

Dear Ms. Agu-Kruusmaa,

hope everything is going well, and you are still working for Estonian CAA.

I received the request from Marabu Airlines OÜ related to the AVSEC Train the Trainer Course for the new AVSEC Instructors. They mentioned that the Estonian Authority accept ECAC or ICAO course only. Is that true or can be delivered by me as the AVSEC Instructors Course approved by the Civil Aviation Authority of the Czech Republic?

Do you have any special requirements in your NCASTP (i.g. duration)?
