Invitation to attend the GSMA Ministerial Programme MWC Barcelona, 3-5 March 2025
Dear Minister Keldo,
On behalf of the GSMA, I am pleased to invite you to attend the GSMA Ministerial Programme
2025, an integral part of MWC Barcelona, the world’s largest and most influential connectivity
event.
From 3 to 5 March 2025, leaders from government, industry and international institutions will come
together at the GSMA Ministerial Programme to meet their global peers, engage in dynamic
discussions and hold strategic meetings in an exclusive environment at the heart of MWC
Barcelona.
Every year, the event brings together over 150 delegations from countries around the world, along
with representatives from key intergovernmental organisations, creating a unique platform for
shaping the future of digital policy and regulation and for leveraging the power of mobile to address
global challenges.
As we approach significant digital milestones in 2025, and we are now past the halfway point on
the journey towards achieving the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals, the GSMA Ministerial
Programme will delve into crucial issues across two stages. On the Ministerial Stage, keynotes
and panel discussions will address today’s most pressing digital topics including responsible AI
governance, energy efficiency of networks, future spectrum for mobile, and the continued dialogue
on investment as operators strive to stay ahead of network traffic growth. Other sessions will
address how the industry is mitigating fraud and expanding digital inclusion. The more intimate
Focus Stage will feature interactive sessions on subjects such as the GSMA Open Gateway,
mobile use by young people, the gender gap and mobile money, among others.
We would be honoured to welcome you, alongside other government and industry leaders, to the
GSMA Ministerial Programme 2025.
