Official Appointment of Delegate and Substitute Delegate to NEIWA — reminder according to Article 4 of Rules of Procedure of NEIWA

Dear Ms. Pakosta, 1 approach you on behalf of the European Network of lntegrity and Whistlebiowing Authorites (NE1WA) to inform you of the latest development in our network.

At the Iatest NEIWA General Assembly, held in Valencia on 18 and 19 April, 2024, members of NEIWA adopted an amendment to the NEIWA Constitution along with the Rules of Procedure of the network (ROP). These steps were taken w[th the aim to enhance operational efficiency of NEIWA.

As outlined in Chapter 4 of the Rules of Procedure, NEIWA is comprised of ali its members, with each member being represented by a delegate or a substitute delegate within the Network (ROP 4.1).

In accordance with the aforementioned rules, it is required that each member communicates to the NEIWA Secretariat the appointment of a deiegate and, if deemed necessary, a substftute delegate. This communication should be made within 30 days after the adoption of the Rules of Procedure and every 2 years during the month of January, commencing from January 2026. The Secretariat will subsequently confirm the appointment of the delegate and substitute delegate. From that moment ali official communications wiII be directed to them (ROP 4.2).

Additionaily, the Secretariat is responsibie for maintaining an updated list of ali delegates and substitute delegates, along with their contact details (ROP 4.3).

As your organization did not appoint any delegate within additional deadiine, we kindly request to:

- renew your commitment to NEIWA by appointing a delegate to represent your organization in NEIWA by September 31, 2024, or

- withdraw from the NEIWA membership according to Art. 1.12 A) RoP.

lf no delegate is appointed, according to Art. 4.6 of the Rules of Procedure, the Board suspends the membership of the organization.
