Invitation letter Honorable Minister Dr. Viktor Liashko, The Ministry of Social Affairs of Estonia is pleased to extend an invitation to the following distinguished individuals: • Dr. Vitaliy Krylyuk, Ph.D., Professor, Director of the Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Center of Emergency and Disaster Medicine, Ministry of Health of Ukraine. • Dr. Oleksandr Serhiienko, Deputy Director General of the Ukrainian Transplant Coordination Center, Head of the Ministry of Health's Operational Headquarters for Coordination of Blood Establishments under Martial Law. This invitation is for a three-day, in-person meeting and conference on war and disaster medicine, scheduled to take place in Tartu, Estonia, from the 10th to the 12th of December 2024. The upcoming conference will focus on the exchange of expertise in critical areas of healthcare preparedness, including the coordination of blood reserves, emergency medical services, and strategies for dealing with military threats. The primary objective of the meeting is to exchange experiences in organizing the blood system, ensuring the continuous supply of blood and blood components under martial law, and responding to military threats in disaster medicine. We are pleased to confirm that the Estonian Health Board will cover accommodation and meals during the meeting.
