ANNUAL ARCTIC SECURITY 2025 SUMMIT

Dear Commodore Saska,

I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to you as the Conference Director of Defence IQ’s Arctic Security which will be taking place at The Scandic Sluseholmen in Copenhagen, Denmark on the 23-24 April 2025. It is my great pleasure to invite you to deliver a brief at the event.

We hope that you will be able to deliver a 20 minute speech on a topic (we would welcome your suggestion for a specific topic.) This will then be followed by a 10-minute Q&A session which will allow the attendees to benefit from your vast expertise in these areas. As a speaker you are invited to attend the conference without any fees, and we also extend this courtesy to any members of your delegation that may be attending with you.

Defence IQ’s Arctic Security 2024 event was a resounding success with nearly 90% of attendees saying they would recommend the event to their colleagues. Building on this great success, I’m excited to share with you that this yearly meeting of state heads, governments and members of the armed services and joint forces returns in 2025. We are bringing together the most senior strategic leaders from the Arctic states, allied nations, NATO and the Arctic Council, under one roof, for the timeliest discussion on developing and improving security for the region.

We understand the importance of staying abreast of the latest developments in the region and this event will provide insights on the newest training techniques for the arctic’s harsh weather conditions, latest developments in technologies tailored to the region, and the ever-shifting geopolitics with the encroaching commercial and military presence of China and Russia in the region.

The event will not only continue these ever-relevant discussions but expand upon topics that are coming more and more to the forefront of Arctic and NATO military interest, like potential adversarial activities in the region. The event will tackle newer topics and interests including unmanned vehicle swarms and the adoption of artificial intelligence, with more representation from arctic nations like Finland, Iceland, Norway, Denmark, Canada, Sweden, the US and the UK.
