22.10.2024 KV-11.1-1/24/20214 To the Medical Commander of the 56th Brigade, Ukrainian Armed Forces. Request for Cooperation Dear Commander, On behalf of the Estonian Defence Forces Medical Service, we respectfully seek your cooperation in supporting our efforts at your field hospital (stabilization point) in the Chasiv Yar direction. Our Medical Service is interested in obtaining educational footage related to casualty management to enhance the training of our medical personnel. To achieve this objective, we propose placing GoPro cameras within your stabilization point to record relevant medical procedures. This training opportunity is vital in enhancing military medical capabilities while fostering mutual awareness, familiarity, and confidence. By increasing military medical interoperability, we can significantly improve the survivability of all NATO forces engaged in major combat and multi- domain operations. We are aware that the NGO "Frontline Medics" is currently providing medical assistance at the stabilization point and has agreed to oversee the installation and management of the cameras. With your approval, we wish to place two or more cameras within your facility. Please rest assured that strict adherence to operational security will be maintained with regard to all footage. We greatly value your cooperation, which is essential for our collective defense against Russian aggression. Point of contact: OF-1 Valter Voomets, Estonian Military Academy ([email protected]). Thank you for your attention to this request. Yours sincerely, Dr Ahti Varblane Surgeon General Estonian Defence Forces
