Medicines Agency (FIMEA)

The Health Board of Estonia has been authorized by the Ministry of Social Affairs to act as a

Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) monitoring authority. Our responsibilities include inspecting

institutions that are part of the GLP program and preparing inspection reports.

As the Health Board currently lacks the specific expertise required to conduct these inspections,

we would like to initiate a cooperation agreement with FIMEA. The aim of this agreement would

be to ensure that inspections and assessments of institutions in Estonia wishing to join GLP

adhere to the OECD Guides for Compliance Monitoring Procedures for GLP.

We greatly value FIMEA's extensive experience and competence in the field of GLP and believe

that such cooperation would contribute to the promotion of high-quality and internationally

recognized practices in Estonia.

We kindly ask you to consider the possibility of initiating this cooperation agreement. We are
