Adapting & Adopting: The Roadmap to the Future of the Digitalization of the Finance
The Best Way to Predict the Future is to Create it!
General Overview: A lot of predictions focuses on a big leap in the recent finance sector as we know it. Some of these predictions talk about not only the digitalization of the finance sector, but also about the digitalization of the accounting sector. Some predictions says that the finance factory transactions will be touchless as automation and blockchain reach deeper into finance operations, the role of Finance with operations largely automated, finance will double down on business insights and service, the skills required by finance professionals will change, likely dramatically, as new combinations of technology and human workforces permeate the workplace. As well, finance cycles goes real time; periodic reporting will no longer drive operations and decisions. Meanwhile, new service-delivery models will emerge as robots and algorithms join a more diverse finance workforce; companies will assess the benefits of automation against onshore. Also, Enterprise resource planning Finance applications and microservices challenge traditional ERP, and the proliferation of APIs will drive data standardization, but it won’t be enough; companies will still be struggling to clean up their data messes. Digital Transformation, Data Driven Insights, Automation & IOT, Blockchain adoption, Cybersecurity focus, and cognitive technologies are among others, the leading factors in the transformation and transition in the finance industry. This transition which will take place throughout the next 5 years, shall change the whole face of the finance sector on all levels.
Concept: None of us knows for certain what the future will hold, but we all have a responsibility to be thinking about what’s likely to happen, and to prepare for it. In Finance, that means working now to get the right people and technology in place to take advantage of the inevitable
disruption ahead. That’s not likely to happen without a clear vision and strategy for Finance in a digital world. Now is the time to step back and make sure your roadmap to that future is clear. The best way to predict the future is to create it; The Future Finance Forum Event aims at networking the stakeholders of the finance sector from all around the globe, to be able to have the upper hand in shaping the future of the finance sector for the coming years. The Future of Finance Forum is aimed at providing attendees with a deep understanding of current trends and future directions in the global financial landscape, equipping them with the knowledge and tools to lead their organizations towards sustainable growth and success.
