‘Supporting and sustaining forces for future conflicts’
25 – 27 March 2025 | Warsaw, Poland EXPO XXI Exhibition Centre
CONFERENCE PRODUCER’S INTRODUCTION
In today’s complex and rapidly changing global security environment, the roles of military engineers and logisticians have never been more pivotal. They provide the crucial backbone of military operations, enabling the protection and projection so the wider force can fight and win. The ongoing conflict in Ukraine has underscored the urgent need for preparedness against contemporary threats. The evolving nature of warfare demands that we continuously adapt our strategies, tactics, and equipment; ensuring that strategic objectives can be met with operational efficiency and tactical excellence; now and into the future.
In this modern era of great power competition our forces must be ready for high-intensity warfare; contested across domains facing multifaceted challenges that will test us to our limits. The collaboration between engineers and logisticians and between allies will be more important than ever.
It is with great pleasure that we present the eleventh edition of the Defence Leaders Combat Engineer and Logistics Conference - CEL 2025, a global forum dedicated to fostering this essential collaboration. Building on the success of previous years, this year’s event promises to be our most ambitious yet, bringing together senior military officials, government representatives, program managers, frontline commanders, subject matter experts, and scientists from across the combat support and service support communities together under one-roof. CEL 2025 promises to be a catalyst for meaningful dialogue, the formation of relationships, and the advancement of international cooperation.
We are thrilled to return to the vibrant city of Warsaw and the outstanding EXPO XXI Exhibition Centre. The Defence Leaders team, along with our CEL partners, has curated an enhanced programme of focused briefings and panel sessions led by our authoritative speaker faculty addressing the enduring and contemporary challenges for both communities, including:
- Mobility and countermobility during large scale combat operations - Overcoming the challenges of logistics in contested environments - Applying emerging technologies such as AI, autonomy and additive manufacturing - The future of deployable infrastructure and renewable energy technologies
We will be delighted to welcome you and your team to CEL 2025 and look forward to supporting you to achieve your goals.
