Upcoming projects in Estonia

The Estonian Transport Administration manages and is responsible for implementing investments in national roads. The length of national roads is approximately 17 000 km.

Road management funding is based on a 4-year national road management plan.

A total of 150 million euros has been planned for road maintenance for the period 2025-2028.

A total of 290 million euros has been planned for the repair and reconstrucion of the existing road network and bridges for the period 2025-2028.

A total of 260 million euros has been planned for the development of the road network for the period 2025-2028.

Our major developments are related to bringing the TEN-T core network roads Tallinn-Tartu and Tallinn-Pärnu into line with the new requirements.

Major projects:

• * Construction of the Päädeva-Konuvere 2+2 section of the Tallinn-Pärnu road in 2025-2027, with a length of 17 km

• * Construction of the Libatse-Nurme 2+2 section of the Tallinn-Pärnu road in 2026-2028, with a length of 22 km

You can get information about railway investments from the Roads and Railways Department of the Ministry of Climate.

Larger local governments, such as the cities of Tallinn, Tartu and Pärnu, are also engaged in major infrastructure investments.

• * Location: In which city or region of Poland is the project planned?

• * Ownership: Is the project privately owned or state/public-driven?

• * Project status: What is the current status (planning, approved, under construction)? And when is the project anticipated to be finished?
