The Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO) presents his compliments … to Member States and has the honour to transmit the provisional agenda for the Forty-first
meeting of the Programme, Budget and Administration Committee of the Executive Board (PBAC41), which will be held in person in WHO headquarters, Geneva from Wednesday, 29 to Friday, 31 January 2025, starting at 09:30 (CET).
In view of the space restriction, up to two persons for PBAC Member delegations and one person for non-PBAC Member delegations may participate in person at the start of the meeting. An additional person per delegation may be admitted to the room subject to space availability.
Membership of this Committee is as follows: Mr J. Acacio (Australia), Mr Wayne Marshall (Barbados), Mr Tovar da Silva Nunes (Brazil), Dr Said Anli Aboubacar (Comoros), Dr Pak Jong Min (Democratic People’s Republic of Korea), Dr Cathrine Marie Lofthus (Norway), Dr S. Ali Al-Marri (Qatar), Mr Minsoo Park (Republic of Korea), Mr A. Cazacu (Republic of Moldova), Dr Ibrahima Sy (Senegal), Dr Ali Haji Adam Abubakar (Somalia), Dr Viroj Tangcharoensathien (Thailand), Dr Jerome X. Walcott (Barbados) ex officio, Ms Barbara Schedler Fischer (Switzerland) ex officio.
Registration can be initiated as of 16 December 2024 by going to the following link: https://indico.un.org/e/PBAC41 and should be completed by 20 January 2025.
In accordance with resolution WHA49.9 (1996), and to support the aim of achievement of SDG 5 (Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls), the Director-General invites Member States to consider that gender balance be applied to their delegations.
