Advance call-up of Assessed Contributions for Financial year 2025 Outstanding balances through to Financial year 2024

Dear Ambassador,

In accordance with Regulation 12, §6 of the Financial Regulations of the Organisation, the Secretary- General may, before the end of each financial period, invite Members to make advance payments in respect of their assessed contribution liability for the following financial period. The table enclosed entitled ‘Advances on Assessed Contributions – Financial year 2025’ shows the contributions called-up for 2024 and indicates the amounts requested for the 2025 advance call-ups, which are equal to 90% of the 2024 contributions.

The Secretary-General would be grateful for any advance payment on 2025 assessed contributions that you could arrange with your authorities.

Please also find enclosed a table entitled ‘Assessed Contributions – Financial year 2024’ which details the 2024 Assessed Contributions received, and, if applicable, any remaining due as of the 4 December 2024.

Furthermore, depending on the situation: - If your country has prior years outstanding balances, a table entitled ‘Assessed Contributions as of 4

December 2024’ is enclosed. - If Budget Results remain at the disposal of your authorities, their details appear in the enclosed table

entitled ‘Summary of Budget Results’. These amounts may, as usual, be applied according to your written instructions.

We would like to thank your country for all payments made to date and for making the necessary arrangements with your authorities in order to settle any assessed contributions that may be outstanding.
