Letter on Acting Head of VASAB Secretariat
Dear Mr Jorens Liopa,
Based on paragraph 9 of the Rules of Operations of the VASAB Secretariat according to which
the Deputy Head of VASAB Secretariat substitutes Head of VASAB Secretariat during his/her
absence, as the chairing country of VASAB Committee on Spatial Planning and Development of
the Baltic Sea Region (CSPD/BSR), Estonia proposes to appoint Egija Stapkevica as the Deputy
Head of VASAB secretariat from 20th January 2025 works as an Acting Head of VASAB
Secretariat. The salary should be paid according to the foreseen salary of the Head of VASAB
Secretariat.
Further decisions on the Head of VASAB Secretariat will be addressed during the next VASAB
CSPD/BSR meeting, foreseen in March 2025.
