Annex A Administrative information for NASMOC conducted in Estonian Military Academy (EMA)
1. PLACE: NASMOC will be conducted in EMA (Riia 12, 51013, Tartu, Estonia).
2. DATE: The course will be conducted during the 10 day period of 10JUN-20JUN 2025 including the weekend. Travel days are 09JUN and 21JUN.
3. REQUIREMENTS: The course will be conducted in English, a good understanding of NATO military English (STANAG 6001) of at least level 2/2/2/2 is necessary to complete the course.
4. PARTICIPANTS: Sending country can apply up to 3 participants to the course. The
course has a total capacity of 24 students.
5. ACCEPTANCE OF REGISTRATION: Participants will receive a confirmation of registration (acceptance) with details on preparation. The acceptance of participants in the case of a higher number of registrations is at the discretion of the EMA faculty and the MMCC-E Senior Teacher.
6. ARRIVAL AND REGISTRATION: Pre-registration of the participants should be made
by filling the Registration Form and sending it via e-mail to [email protected] NLT 18APR2025. Any failures to arrive can be reported directly to Estonian POC.
7. ACCOMMODATION: EMA offers free accommodation in dormitory double rooms. If
you use accommodation elsewhere, please indicate this on the registration form.
8. MEALS: On weekdays, meals are offered for free to all participants during the course. Please note that there is no catering in the dormitory canteen on weekends.
9. DRESS: During the course battle dress uniform (BDU) is required, for social activities
civilian casual clothing is recommended.
10. TRAVELLING: Travelling to and from the course is a national responsibility. It is recommended to take LuxExpress bus from Tallinn Airport to Tartu. Tickets should be bought ahead at least 3 days from www.tpilet.ee/en All necessary transportation during the course will be provided by EMA.
11. PAYMENTS: The course fee is 100 euros per participant. Payment has to be made in
cash on the first day. EMA will provide invoice for the payment.
12. PROGRAM: Daily schedule is from 08:00 to 17:00. Saturday, 14th of June is for Cultural Program. Sunday, 15th of June, adopted program for syndicate work is organized.
13. CULTURAL PROGRAM: EMA is organizing a Cultural Program as part of the course,
which will take place on Saturday 14th June.
14. E-LEARNING SYSTEM: EMA is using ILIAS e-learning system for the lectures, syndicate works etc. All participants are required to join the system prior to the course, detailed information will follow. Personal laptops are recommended. EMA will provide free WiFi.

NAMSOC – course announcement

The 2025 iteration of the NATO Advanced Medical Staff Officer Course (NAMSOC) will be conducted in the Estonian Military Academy in cooperation with Multinational Medical Coordination Centre – Europe (MMCC-E) and Netherlands Joint Healthcare Education and Training Centre (DGOTC). The course is designed for brigade and division level medical staff officers/medical planners to create the required knowledge and understanding regarding military medical planning, medical logistics and command and control (C2) in conventional warfare settings. The course will take place in Tartu, Estonia from 10 June – 20 June 2025.
