Dear Director-General, As announced at the last meeting of the Directors-General responsible for civil protection, I would like to invite you to ‘save-the-date’ for a dedicated meeting of Directors-General that will allow us to discuss the preparation of the EU Preparedness Union Strategy, as announced during our last regular informal meeting in Budapest, 15-16 October.

This meeting will take place in Brussels in the afternoon of Tuesday 11 February

and the morning of Wednesday 12 February 2025 (two half-days).

A networking dinner in the evening of Tuesday 11 February will complete the

programme.

Please note that only Directors-General responsible for civil protection of EU

Member States are invited to this meeting. They can be accompanied by one delegate

per country.

Further information related to the logistics and the agenda of the meeting will

follow in due time.
