Dear Antonio,
Thank you for your e-mail. Unfortunately, I must inform you that there is no QTSP certification authority in Estonia that is authorized to issue the desired certificate for you. Our Authority is a Supervisory Body that grants operating licenses for provision of qualified trust services, confirms the qualified status of a QTSPs and includes these data in the Estonian Trusted List based on the eIDAS compliance assessment report carried out by a CAB. Estonian QTSPs are certified as eIDAS-compliant by Conformity Assessment Bodies (CABs) from abroad. There are accepted CABs that are listid in the EU list of CABs, which can be found here: https://eidas.ec.europa.eu/efda/browse/notification/cab-nab .

My name is Antonio Bonsignore, main partner of ITside SRL, an Italian company working on e-archiving, in particular long-term preservation of e-documents upon Italian laws.
EIDAS 2 regulation defined e-Archiving qualified services and we are interested in evaluating to set up a company in Estonia to make it become a QTSP for these services, if Estonian certification as a QTSP is convenient and fast.
I would like to know if your organization certifies these QTSPs and if this certification is valid in Italy also, without any additional procedure.
