Dear Ms Tošić,

1) In Estonia, private limited company may be established on-line in the e-Business Register. The statutory fee is then 265 euros (Statutory Fees Act–Riigi Teataja). If the person does everything themselves, that will be the whole cost for registering.

However, if the person wishes, they may also register a private limited company through a notary. Then the statutory fee is 200 euros, but there will be additional fees for notary’s services. The notaries fees depend on the transaction value that in turn depends on the planned share capital. I will add the link to the Notary Fees Act Notary Fees Act–Riigi Teataja. The table with trancaction values and full fees is at the end.

It is also possible to use the help of a lawyer but the fees depend entirely on the specific case

and mutual agreement.

2) The statutory fee for an amendment for private limited companies is 25 euros (Statutory Fees Act–Riigi Teataja). Every amendment is 25 euros, no „bulk discount“, but the companies do try to add several changes in one application and pay for only one amendment.

3) Most data in the business register is accessible on-line and free of charge for everyone, e.g

Eesti Aken OÜ | e-Äriregister . The registry card and public file are freely accessible (Commercial Register Act–Riigi Teataja), the registry file is with restricted access. The registry file contains all information that according to the Commercial Register Act is not entered on the registry card or in the public file.

 Total registra on costs for the forma on of a private limited liability company, including the registra on authority’s fee and any addi onal fees for services provided by other authori es (e.g. public notaries or lawyers), if applicable.

 The fee for registering a change in registered informa on (For example, at SBRA: If a single applica on includes a request for mul ple changes, the first change is charged at the full prescribed fee, while each addi onal change within the same applica on is charged at half of the prescribed fee).

 Publicly available registered informa on – which details are accessible free of charge, and is access open to the public or does it require a user account?
