This email is a reminder to participate in the consultation on first (preliminary) draft of the Guidance document for the safe management of asbestos at work.  Your comments need to be returned by Monday 24^th February 2025.

This guide is being developed by a consortium led by RPA under contract to the European Commission.  The aim of the document is to provide guidance on the prevention and management of occupational exposure to asbestos.

The pilots are expected to take place in March and April.  If you can suggest any organisations or facilities working with asbestos, that might be willing to participate in the pilots, and to which you are willing to introduce us, we would love to hear from you.

At the end of the study, the study team will share your contact details with the European Commission to enable them to inform people about the new guidance when it is published.  We cannot guarantee the confidentiality of the data when it is no longer held by the study team.  Please let us know by replying to this email before the 30 June 2025, if you do not want your contact details to be shared with the European Commission.
