February 15, 2024 LETTER TO NATIONAL COMMITTEES
NOMATION FOR
FIRE INVESTIGATIONS GROUP and FIRE PREVENTION COMMISSION
Dear National CTIF Committees
The CTIF Executive Committee discussed at a recent meeting the situation in the CTIF Fire
Investigations Group and Fire Prevention Commission, which at the moment has no chairman.
The CTIF Fire Investigations Group at the moment consists of delegates from 14 countries, and
Fire Prevention Commission from 12 countries. We would like to improve the important work
of this Group and Commission in the future.
We therefore ask and would like to encourage all National Committees to either nominate
delegates to this Group and Commission or to update information about current delegates.
Fire investigation and Fire Prevention are an important area in each country and consequently
we would like to improve this important area between countries with the exchange of
knowledge within the CTIF Fire Investigations Group and Fire Prevention Commission.
If you have a candidate who would be interested in working in this Group and/or Commission
please send us their name and contact information (email, telephone number) by email to:
[email protected] by 4 March 2024.
Best regards.
