Response to letter nr. 2.4.4.-1./9044
On 12th of December 2024 the Estonian Health Board recieved letter nr 2.4.4.-1./9044 from Health
Inspectorate of the Republic of Latvia concerning the distribution of calcium chloride without
REACH registration by Estonian importer Taproban OÜ.
We carried out the procedure and found that companies “TCI Sanmar Chemicals”, South Port Said,
Egypt, and “Life Chemical Group (LCG)” both have appointed only representatives and in both
cases the imported calcium chloride has been registered with ECHA. Therefore no violation of
European Union Regulation No. 1907/2006 was detected.
Based on the information mentioned above, we have concluded the procedure.
