Your Excellency,
In first instance, let me offer our respects and gratitude for your excellent cooperation as
regards EU cybersecurity matters.
Regulation (EU) 2024/2847 (the Cyber Resilience Act), which entered into force on 11
December 2024, confers implementing powers on the Commission for the adoption of
implementing acts in accordance with Article 291(2) of the TFEU. For this purpose, the
Commission shall be assisted by a committee within the meaning of Regulation (EU)
182/20112, the “Product Security Committee”3.
Therefore, I would like to kindly request that your Member State nominates one member,
and if needed, alternate members, who will represent your country in this committee.
We would be grateful if you could send the names and contact details, including an email
address of the members of the committee to CNECT-PRODUCT-SECURITY-
[email protected] within six weeks from the receipt of this letter.
