CONSTITUTIONAL COURT Chairman
Mr. VilluKOVE Chief Justice of the Supreme Court Republic of Estonia Tartu
Kyiv, February^, 2025
Dear Mr. Chief Justice,
On behalf of the Judges of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine and myself, I extend my sincere and heartfelt congratulations on the auspicious occasion of the Independence Day of the Republic of Estonia. It is a special Day for all citizens of the Republic of Estonia, as on this day in 1918 the historical Estonian Declaration of Independence, Manifesto to the Peoples of Estonia, established the Republic of Estonia, expressing the will of the peoples of the Republic of Estonia to live in an independent and sovereign state.
On this momentous occasion, I have the honour to extend my cordial wishes for enduring peace, unity, and prosperity to your Esteemed State. Furthermore, to you, dear Mr. Chief Justice, and your distinguished colleagues, I convey my sincerest hope for success in all endeavours dedicated to the well-being and advancement of the Republic of Estonia.
Moreover, I have the honour and pleasure to express our profound gratitude for the solidarity and unwavering support from the Republic of Estonia conveyed to the Ukrainian people. Your resolute solidarity and enduring commitment is invaluable, and we hold this in the highest regard.
Availing myself of this opportunity, I would like to underscore that the Constitutional Court of Ukraine sincerely values our cooperation and do hold a strong belief that partnership and friendship between the Constitutional Court of Ukraine and the Supreme Court of the Republic of Estonia will be developing and strengthening in order to uphold the fundamental principles of democracy, the rule of law, and the protection of human rights
Please accept, dear Mr. Chief Justice, the assurances of my highest consideration and esteem to you.
Yours sincerely,
Acting Chairman Oleksandr PETRYSHYN
