Major General Karus,
Allow us to extend our appreciation for your participation and personal engagement in the debates of the 1st edition
of the GLOBSEC Transatlantic Forum 2025. We were honoured to welcome more than 250 guests from almost 20
countries over the three days of fruitful and engaging discussions.
This year’s GLOBSEC Transatlantic Forum brought together key representatives from Europe and the U.S., fostering
vital discussions on the growing divide between democracies and autocracies. The need for transatlantic
cooperation to counter global threats—particularly from China and Russia—was a central theme. Key topics
included strengthening NATO, securing critical infrastructure, and addressing cybersecurity risks like AI and supply
chain vulnerabilities. Discussions also covered defense industry challenges, slow procurement, and the need for
innovation. Economic security, energy independence, and strategic tech investments were highlighted as essential
for geopolitical stability.
While a detailed summary of the Forum will be distributed at a later stage, we invite you to revisit the discussions
through the livestream available HERE. Photo Gallery of the event can be found HERE.
Major General Karus, we sincerely appreciate your contribution and eSorts to making this event a success. Your
insights and dedication reinforced the importance of transatlantic cooperation in navigating today’s complex
geopolitical landscape. Building on this year’s discussions, we look forward to organizing another edition of the
Transatlantic Forum in 2026.
We would be delighted if you maintained interest in our activities and remain further engaged with us. We are already
looking forward to our future cooperation.
Yours sincerely,
Steve Clemons
