TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN
This is to certify that the Estonian Transport Administration permits, under the authority of Chapter
III / Regulation 2.1 of SOLAS 1974 (as amended), M/V SILJA EUROPA (IMO 8919805) to have
more persons onboard as currently allowed by the Passenger Ship Safety Certificate (issued by
Bureau Veritas for short international voyages and valid until 04.03.2026) while the ship is
alongside and used only as shoreside accommodation vessel (floating hotel).
Vessel may reduce life-saving appliances required by Record of Equipment (Form P – supplement
to the Passenger Ship Safety Certificate) issued by Bureau Veritas for the purpose of regular service
ashore (MES systems and inflatable liferats). Vessel evacuation arrangement must be modified to
facilitate evacuation in any kind of emergency situation.
Whenever vessel will proceed to sea, maximum number of persons allowed on board will be
strictly as per Passenger Ship Safety Certificate and the life-saving appliances required by
Record of Equipment must be restored.
