Poland is organizing the Digital Summit, a flagship event under Poland's presidency of the Council of the European Union, which will take place on 17-18 June 2025 in Gdansk. As the most significant digital policy event of our presidency, the summit will bring together high-level policymakers, industry leaders, and experts to discuss Europe's key digital priorities and shape the future of its technological landscape.
I am honoured to invite you to participate as a distinguished speaker in the high-level panel "Skills Gap: What Needs to Be Done to Ensure EU Talents Bloom", taking place on 17 June 2025, from 14:30 to 15:25.
The "Skills Gap• panel will convene policymakers, industry leaders, and experts to discuss strategies for bridging the talent gap in Europe's digital economy, enhancing Al and tech related education, and fostering a skilled workforce ready for the challenges of the future.
This session will explore how the EU can build a stronger digital talent pipeline, ensuring that European companies and institutions have access to the expertise needed to drive technological leadership. Key topics will include upskilling and reskilling initiatives, aligning education with industry needs, and promoting mobility and collaboration to nurture top Al and tech talent.
Your insights as Minister of Justice and Digital Affairs of Estonia, a country known for its leadership in digital innovation, would be inva1uable to this discussion.
