Thank you for your letter of 27 January 2025 informing me about Estonia’s position on the

current Creative Europe Programme.

Your letter, as well as the joint letter signed by the Culture Ministers of the 27 Member States,

are valuable contributions to the reflections on the EU’s continued future support for the

cultural and creative sectors.

In particular, I take note of your appreciation of cross-border cultural cooperation and

distribution in the audiovisual sector, your plea for an easier access to the programme, as well

as your concerns regarding the insufficient geographical coverage of the European Investment

Fund’s loan guarantee scheme.

I count on your support in the discussions for the next Multiannual Financial Framework, and I

am convinced that collectively we will strengthen the cultural and creative sectors in the

European Union.
