Dear Sir/Madam,
My name is Arpine Matevosyan, and I am currently conducting a research project as part of a fellowship with the Raoul Wallenberg Institute of Human Rights and Humanitarian Law (Lund University, Sweden). The focus of my study is the use of electronic case management
systems (ECMS) and artificial intelligence (AI) in judicial systems, with particular attention to their impact on institutional efficiency and the protection of human rights.
Given Estonia's global reputation as a pioneer in digital justice, it is one of the two countries selected for an in-depth case study.
As part of the study, I place strong emphasis on capturing the perspectives of those who engage with ECMS and AI tools in their day-to-day professional roles. In particular, I am seeking to interview judges, court administrators, and registrars, whose practical
insights are essential to understanding how these systems function in real-life judicial contexts.
I would be sincerely grateful if you could kindly advise whether there are professionals in these roles across Estonian courts who may be available for a brief online interview. Each interview would last approximately 30 minutes and would be scheduled at a
time convenient for the participant.
Should you require additional information about the research or my affiliation, I would be happy to provide further details.
Thank you very much in advance for your time and consideration. I look forward to the opportunity to include the valuable experience of Estonia’s judiciary in this important study.
Best regards,
Arpine Matevosyan
