Letter of Support for “LIFE-23-IPE-EE-LIFE SIP WET-EST” project With this letter, Ministry of Social Affairs of the Republic of Estonia, expresses its support to and interest in the LIFE-23-IPE-EE-LIFE SIP WET-EST, acronym LIFE SIP WetEST, title “Enabling collaborative efforts for systemic change in Estonian river basin management” being prepared by Ministry of Climate of the Republic of Estonia and other partners to tackle major environmental issues targeted in the River Basin Management Plan (RBMP) for the West-Estonia River Basin District. Ministry of the Social Affairs is responsible for the policy making and regulation of drinking water quality and takes part in the development of River Basin Management Plan by LIFE SIP WetEST complementary activities. Ministry of Social Affairs is willing to participate as associated partner in Work Package 4 “Optimising monitoring and applying automized methods for supporting inspection” to contribute to the solutions for integrating water monitoring systems and optimizing the monitoring of drinking and bathing water for the protection of environment and health.
