Dear Sir or Madam,
We hope this email finds you well.
We are writing on behalf of the Estonian Transport Administration to follow up on a previous email regarding the possibility of discussing potential collaboration with your company. As representatives of Estonia as a flag state, we offer tax benefits, digital solutions, a competitive business environment and a range of high-quality shore services for shipping companies. We would be very interested in meeting with you to explore these opportunities in more detail.
Since we have not yet received a response, we would like to check if our previous emails have reached you. We would greatly appreciate it if you could confirm receipt and let us know if you are interested in further discussion.
Additionally, we would like to inform you that the Estonian Transport Administration will be represented by company Consolato del Mare, Mr Indra Kaunis at Singapore Maritime Week 2025. We would be honored to welcome you at stand F12 to discuss how Estonia can support your business needs and possible collaboration. Your notice of interest in having a meeting and more detailed presentation is appreciated to be sent in advance in order to reserve some time personally for you. Please send your e-mail to Mr.Kaunis at his address: [email protected] in order to coordinate suitable time for your meeting. Subject: Invitation to collaborate and meet at Singapore Maritime Week (SMW) 2025
Dear Sir or Madam,
We hope this email finds you well.
We are reaching out from the Estonian Transport Administration, Maritime Development and Competitiveness Department, to introduce our initiatives and invite you to explore potential collaboration opportunities with us. We would be delighted to meet you during the upcoming Singapore Maritime Week, which will take place from 24th to 28th March 2025.
The Estonian Transport Administration is a governmental organization responsible for maritime, aviation and road traffic management in Estonia. Since July 1, 2020, our Maritime Development and Competitiveness Department has been leading the “Bringing Ships Under the Estonian Flag” initiative, called EST Flag. This program aims to promote Estonia as a maritime nation offering competitive and high-quality flag services, including:
· Supportive Business Environment. Estonia ranks first in the OECD Tax Competitiveness Index and offers a business-friendly environment with a simple and transparent tax system. Means of financial support via Estonian Business and Innovation Agency can be discussed.
· Favorable Tax Schemes. Estonia offers Seafarer Tax Scheme and Tonnage Tax Scheme significantly reduсing tax obligations for shipowners and crew members.
· Digital Excellence. Estonia’s e-governance solutions provide unparalleled ease in managing maritime operations, including online ship registration for ships to Estonian Bareboat Charter Registry and digital documentation services. Thanks to e-residency, it is possible to establish a company in Estonia remotely and run the business from any part of the world. With the e-residency card an access is granted to the majority of Estonian state services like E-Business Register, e-notary, e-taxation, digital signature and many others.
· High-Class Maritime Infrastructure. Estonia is on the Paris MoU white-list and we offer a variety of ship registers with competitive fees, no restrictions on crew nationality or ship age and an environment that fosters innovation and collaboration. Long-lasting maritime education traditions in Estonia will help in getting new crew members to your ship. The distance between state bodies and business is small; beneficial business environment facilitates starting new businesses and welcomes start-ups.
As a member of the European Union, NATO and the UN, Estonia complies with international maritime standards, including IMO and ILO conventions. This provides shipowners the assurance of a globally respected flag.
To support your operations, Estonia also offers robust shore services, including extensive ship repair and building facilities. Leading Estonian companies such as BLRT Group, SRC, Shore Link and Baltic Workboats deliver high-quality solutions tailored to the maritime industry's needs.
We are pleased to inform that the Estonian Transport Administration will be represented by company Consolato del Mare, Mr Indra Kaunis at Singapore Maritime Week 2025. We would be honored to welcome you at stand F12 to discuss how Estonia can support your business needs and possible collaboration.
