Subject: Invitation to the 3rd UNESCO Global Forum on the Ethics of Artificial Intelligence
Sir/Madam,
I am pleased to invite your Minister in charge of national policy on artificial intelligence to the 3rd UNESCO Global Forum on the Ethics of Artificial Intelligence, co-hosted by the Kingdom of Thailand.
The Forum will be held from 24 to 27 June 2025, in Bangkok, Thailand, and includes a ministerial segment.
This event will bring together representatives of governments, the business sector and civil society to showcase initiatives and policy approaches around the world to promote the ethical development and use of this technology, in line with the UNESCO Recommendation on the Ethics of Artificial Intelligence.
Discussions during the ministerial segment will build on the outcomes of the work undertaken by UNESCO with over 70 Member States on national artificial intelligence policy through our readiness assessment methodology.
I would be grateful if you could contact the Social and Human Sciences sector of UNESCO by email ([email protected]) to confirm your country's participation by 20 May 2025.
