The Police and Border Guard Board welcomes the proposed project developed by the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and its partners and extends its support for the successful implementation and delivery of the project should it be successful in receiving funds from the European Commission. This letter pertains to the European Commission’s call for proposals under the CERV-DAPHNE, priority 2: “Targeted actions for the protection of and support for victims and survivors of gender-based violence and domestic violence”.
We support the project's efforts to improve victim support in Estonia, particularly in addressing gender-based violence among migrant women. We express our willingness to participate in the project as an associated partner without financial contribution.
We are ready to support the project through collaboration and consultation including sharing information about training sessions with potential participants so that they can enhance their ability to recognize, prevent, and respond to gender- based violence among migrant women.
