Thank you for your outreach on our digital transformation cooperation. We truly appreciate Estonia’s continued commitment and the efforts made to advance the GovStack initiative. Jointly, we have brought GovStack to life and it has become a remarkable initiative that truly drives digital transformation and development forward. I do agree that now is the time to take the next steps to ensure that our joint work remains accessible and impactful for people worldwide. Your leadership and readiness to take this forward are highly valued, and we are very encouraged to see Estonia’s strong dedication to this process.

To ensure fruitful political discussions and bearing mind the initiative’s developmental nature it is important for us to have a shared understanding of the proposed options for GovStack’s sustainability. Building on Estonia’s initial proposal, the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) has drafted a concept note on our behalf, to which we would greatly appreciate your feedback in advance.

Your feedback and input on the provided concept note will help us prepare for our political dialogue and will support informed decisions on GovStack’s future organizational, governance, and financial sustainability model.
