To whom it may concern
The Ministry of Health of Ukraine extends its sincere gratitude for your
sustained partnership and steadfast support of our national healthcare system. Your
dedication to humanitarian values and access to essential medical care has been
instrumental in preserving lives under the extraordinary strain of war.
As Ukraine continues to endure the devastating consequences of full-scale
military aggression, the country’s health infrastructure is being pushed to its limits. The
destruction of medical facilities, internal displacement of the population, and sustained
pressure on healthcare professionals have all contributed to a significant disruption in
the delivery of care. This pressure, disrupted logistics, have led to critical deficits in
essential medical supplies across all regions.
A matter of urgent concern is the growing shortage of medicines for the
treatment of cancer in both children and adults. Oncology patients require highly
specialized, uninterrupted care, and even short delays in access to medication can lead
to irreversible health consequences. This is particularly true for pediatric oncology,
where precise timing and continuous protocols are critical for survival and long-term
outcomes.
In response to this acute need, we are appealing to your organization for
humanitarian assistance in the form of oncology medicines and related supplies. These
resources will be vital in supporting cancer care continuity, mitigating treatment
interruptions, and protecting the most vulnerable patients from preventable
complications and fatal outcomes.
An annex detailing priority medicines is enclosed for your consideration. We
remain at your disposal to coordinate logistics, provide technical details, and facilitate
any necessary formalities to ensure the timely and effective delivery of aid.

To whom it may concern
The Ministry of Health of Ukraine expresses its sincere appreciation for your
continued cooperation and unwavering support of our national healthcare system,
especially during these exceptionally difficult times. Your commitment to
safeguarding human life and ensuring access to essential medical care has been critical
to our collective humanitarian response.
As a result of the ongoing full-scale war against Ukraine, our healthcare system
continues to face severe challenges. While the government continues to prioritize
healthcare within its means, the financial burden of wartime expenditures has
significantly restricted our ability to meet the growing and urgent needs of hospitals
and patients nationwide. Despite our best efforts to ensure continuity of medical
services, the cumulative effect of these conditions, as well as disrupted logistics, has
led to critical shortages of essential medicines and medical devices across the country.
One of the most pressing concerns is the shortage of goods for treating
cardiovascular diseases. Cardiovascular diseases remain one of the leading causes of
death in Ukraine and require uninterrupted access to essential treatments. The lack of
access to these medicines and medical devices poses a grave threat to public health and
may result in increased morbidity, avoidable mortality, and added strain on already
overstretched emergency and inpatient services.
In light of the above, we respectfully appeal to you to consider providing
humanitarian aid of essential medicines and medical devices for the treatment of
cardiovascular diseases. Your contribution will directly support the stabilization of
patient care, ensure the continuity of critical treatments, and ultimately save lives.
An annex detailing priority goods is enclosed for your consideration. We remain
at your disposal to coordinate logistics, provide technical details, and facilitate any
necessary formalities to ensure the timely and effective delivery of aid.
