- If a ukrainian receiving temporary protection receives an income due to employment, does he/she still receive finacial and social support? (yes, benefits don’t remain, benefits will be reduces)

Dear Social Insurance Board-Team,

I’m currently doing research about the integration of ukranian refugees in EU Countries. Therefore I am looking for data on language training provided by EU countries in order to integrate ukrainians. Unfortunately Statistics Estonia was not able to provide me with the data that I was looking for. I was wondering if you could provide me with data on this issue for Estonia.

I’m interested in:

- Do you provide language training for ukrainian refugees? (yes, no, since when)

- Is it required in order to get a residence permit? (yes, no, no but a certificate of language skills)

- Is it required in order to enter the local labourmarket? (yes, no, no but a certificate of language skills)

- Are the costs covered by the state? (yes, no, shares)

- How many ukrainians have participated in this training? (numbers as per 2022, 2023 and 2024)

- How much does the state invest in this training? (in numbers)
