We are pleased to invite you to the online discussion
“Lessons learned from the RRF and the implications for cohesion policy”
Monday, 16 June 2025
from 10.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon
The purpose of this event is to discuss key points from the ECA’s review on the RRF’s performance orientation, accountability and transparency, as well as conclusions from the “Future of Cohesion” conference held at the ECA in March 2025.
At the beginning of the conference, we will present the main lessons learned from designing and implementing the RRF. We will then connect these lessons with some reflection about the future of EU financing, in particular cohesion policy.
Finally, we would like to discuss what you consider to be the RRF’s main lessons as well as the challenges that remain, and how these could affect the EU’s future finances.
Your expertise and perspective are vital for a constructive exchange on how to build more effective, results-driven EU policies. We look forward to your active participation and valuable contributions.
Please, find the agenda in the attachment.
The discussion will be based on the recently published:
Review 02/2025: Performance-orientation, accountability and transparency – lessons to be learned from the weaknesses of the RRF
Opinion 02/2025: Cohesion policy regulations, mid-term review
Please confirm your attendance by 13 June at the latest via EU Survey registration link.
