Dear Team,
We are currently in the process of developing an innovative cosmetic product and are working through the legal requirements – particularly in regard to labelling and packaging.
As an Estonian-registered company (Trade Mates OÜ), we intend to sell primarily in the German market and therefore aim to fully comply with
German and EU cosmetic regulations.
At this stage, we are looking for reliable partners in the field of product assessment and certification (e.g. safety assessment), and could well imagine working with you more closely in the future.
To proceed efficiently, we would greatly appreciate a brief initial expert opinion – purely for orientation purposes – so we understand the core requirements from the outset.
About the product:
The product is a very compact stick, approximately the size of a lip balm, with
two-sided application.
Each end contains a different blend of natural essential oils (e.g. menthol, eucalyptus, camphor, lemongrass, etc.).
It is intended both for applying to the skin (e.g. temples, wrists) and for
direct inhalation, depending on the variant – designed to support either relaxation, focus, or energy in daily life.
We clearly classify it as a cosmetic product and have compiled a preliminary list of potential labelling elements.
We would kindly ask for your input on the following:
