Good evening Darja, Gabriela and all,
Apologies for the delayed response!
When the vessel proceeds to the next phase of the work, they will notify us 4 hours in advance. At that point, Turku Radio will publish the following warning via NAVTEX:

Best regards,
Janne

Good day!
Janne, as Gabriela already mentioned, we would also like to publish navigational warning (for 2 survey points that are in our waters 59° 56' 09.594" N 026° 11' 12.966" E, 59° 55' 11.855" N 026° 17' 05.194" E ) on our own radio and homepage.
Would you be able to share the text of the warning with us?
Alos I was hoping to find an updated, valid navigation warning about the upcoming Submarine Cable Repair Operations on NAVTEX, but didn't find one.

Good Afternoon
Yes, it is fine for us if you issue the navigational warning for your radio and NAVTEX.
However, we would also like to publish navigational warning (for 2 survey points that are in our waters) on our own radio and homepage.
Would you be able to share the text of the warning with us?
Yours sincerely,

Good Afternoon!
Please find enclosed report and plan from Deep Cygnus. Ship is asking to issue new navigational warning when it will perform a cable tracking survey. Given coordinates hits partly to Estonian waters, so is it ok for you, if we issue navigational warning partly to your waters?

Dear Colleagues,
Please be informed of the following navigational warning, which will be published soon when cable repair work begins:
GULF OF FINLAND
CABLE REPAIR OPERATIONS BY VESSEL DEEP CYGNUS CALL SIGN LACV8
IN VICINITY OF POSITION 59-57.1N 026-05.8E.
SAFETY DISTANCE 1NM.
Virtual AtoNs are not used in this case.
The above warning concerns repair operations on the EstLink 2 submarine power cable, carried out by Fingrid Oyj between 14 May and 15 July 2025 in the Finnish Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ). The operation will include:
1. Repairing the broken cable by connecting a ~1 km spare cable segment between two pre-identified intact cable ends.
2. Laying the cable into a prepared corridor on the seabed, with possible additional trenching.
3. Testing the connection and restoring it to service.
4. Post-repair seabed survey using MBES and ROV.
The repair area is located within a rectangular zone defined by the following coordinates (ETRS89/WGS84):
* 59.951946° N, 026.079529° E
* 59.956746° N, 026.087269° E
* 59.951820° N, 026.111194° E
* 59.946087° N, 026.106621° E
Part of the repair zone extends into the Estonian EEZ.
The main repair vessel is Deep Cygnus (IMO 9479541, call sign LACV8), supported by CTV Linda (MMSI 230110310, call sign OG7951).
During critical phases, Deep Cygnus will be unable to maneuver without halting the repair. A commercial guard vessel (tug) will be on-site 24/7 to ensure maritime safety and respond to unforeseen situations.
