On behalf of ESA Director General, we are pleased to share the Save the Date for the upcoming inauguration of ESA’s fourth deep-space antenna in New Norcia, Western Australia, which will take place on 4 October 2025.
This milestone event will bring together key representatives from ESA, its Member States, Australia, industry and international partners to celebrate a major advance in our deep-space communication capabilities.

The event will bring together leading representatives from ESA, its Member States, Australia, international stakeholders, industry and media.

Transportation will be provided from Perth Airport to the event. Preliminary departure times • from Perth Airport: 13:00 • from the event: 20:30
