Dear Sirs, This is the official application to have permission for annual Helsinki-Tallinn Race 2025 to use Estonian territorial waters for sailing competition. Required information: 1. Sailing competition from Helsinki to Tallinn / Kalevi Jahtklubi harbour during the evening /night 22.- 23.8.2025 (the Harbour is changed from last year). First start is at 15:30 and last start approx. at 20:00. Total amount of sailing boats is estimated to be around 150 - 200 boats (invitation is still open). Most of boats are heading back to Finland on Sunday 24.8.2025 around 10 AM. 4. Minimum crew 3 persons (double handed class two persons), inspection class ORC Category 3 required, safe course, all authorities including SAR informed, safety instructions in written form for all boats (reporting, emergency contacts etc.). The Notice of Race is on internet and the link to it is below. 5. Course information in written form lists course marks. All other areas are left for skippers to choose freely (typical in sailing competitions) as the navigational part of the race. The route is similar than last year.
