The Embassy of the Republic of Korea to the Republic of Estonia presents its compliments to the Ministry ofForeign Affairs of the Republic of Estonia and has honor to provide the following information regarding the Korean electronic apostille(’e Apostille”) service.
The Government of the Republic of Korea has, since 30 November 2016, implemented an electronic apostille service, which carries the same legal effect as traditional sticker- type apostilles under the Apostille Convention.
In order to facilitate recognition and avoid potential inconvenience arising from unfamiliarity with the electronic format, the Embassy is pleased to provide information on the official Korean e-Apostille website(https://apostille.po.kñ. This platform offers a tool for verit’ing both the apostille itself and the authenticity of the underlying public document, as well as enables the immediate online issuance of apostille.
The Embassy would be grateftul if the Ministry could kindly circulate this information to the relevant authorities within the Republic of Estonia so as to ensure smooth acceptance of Korean electronic apostille without inadvertent rejection.
