Purpose and Outcome
The One Health Conference will inspire government officials from EU Member States to adopt
and implement a unified and holistic One Health approach to address complex health issues aris-
ing at the human-animal-environment interface.
The One Health Conference will identify a selection of good One Health practices brought forward
and agreed to by participants.
This selection will be a resource for policy makers, civil servants, and many other actors in accel-
erating and promoting One Health collaboration.
Allocation of participants
Each EU Member State has been allocated six participants for the One Health Conference: two
veterinary civil servants, two human health civil servants, and two environmental civil servants.
Appointment of participants
As the CVO, we kindly ask for your assistance in appointing participants within your area of re-
sponsibility. We therefore kindly ask you to appoint two civil servants at director, deputy direc-

Ideally the two participants should be able to cover two of the three topics: 1) AMR, 2) pandemics,
epidemics, and zoonoses, and 3) food safety and environmental pollutants.
We kindly ask you to forward the invitation including concept note and PIN to the two chosen
veterinary health experts from your country.
There is no interpretation during the conference and the language is English only. We therefore
kindly ask you to bear this in mind.
The two participants will have to register to the event via the link in the invitation. Personal regis-
tration is required due to GDPR legislation.
