The International Institute for the Unification of Private Law (UNIDROIT) presents its
compliments to the Embassy of the Republic of Estonia in Italy and has the honour to inform that
the Italian Government, by Note Verbale of the Minister for Foreign Affairs n. 139222 dated 7 August
2025, pursuant to Article 6(2) of our Statute, has designated Professor Enzo Moavero Milanesi as
President of UNIDROIT for a five year term of office with effect from 1 September 2025.
We would be grateful if the Embassy of the Republic of Estonia in Italy could bring the contents
of this Note Verbale to the attention of the competent Authorities of its Government.
